# web-tool local work-pack runner

`work-pack-runner.js` repeats the three browser workflows on local files with Node.js built-ins only. It does not upload input, use a package manager, or send telemetry.

## Commands

```sh
node work-pack-runner.js --self-test
node work-pack-runner.js --recipe recipe.json --input input.md
node work-pack-runner.js --recipe recipe.json --base base.csv --next next.csv
node work-pack-runner.js --recipe recipe.json --input input.txt --output result.txt
```

For Markdown-to-CSV and UTF-8 chunking, `--input` may be omitted and stdin is read. For CSV keyed diff, provide both `--base` and `--next`. Use `--output` to write a local result; otherwise the result is written to stdout.

The recipe contains only these exact keys: `schema_version`, `operation`, `delimiter`, `key_column`, and `chunk_bytes`. Create it with the browser's “recipe export” control, or write a settings-only JSON file such as:

```json
{
  "schema_version": 1,
  "operation": "markdown-csv",
  "delimiter": ",",
  "key_column": "id",
  "chunk_bytes": 32
}
```

Only local paths are accepted. The runner applies the browser's 5 MiB input, row, column, cell, and chunk limits.
